Who We Are

@ Woodhouse Hill

Andrew the Lazy Farmer

Growing up in Suburban Sydney, getting out into nature was always an anticipated summer holiday affair. Instilled with a deep admiration for the natural world, Andrew set out to save it and studied marine biology. Unfortunately, the critical subject of “Hope” was not offered in the degree. So, feeling powerless to change the trajectory of our planetary demise, Andrew decided to train to be a pastry chef (and to savour life and cake before the world burned).

A Permaculture Design Course in 2014 sparked the catalytic hope that propelled Andrew onto a path of growing healthy food and healthy environments. Inspired by his travels through communities and villages of SE Asia, and now by the work of his awesome local community in Central Victoria, Andrew is driven by the hope and knowledge that we can all collectively create a better future (and both save and savour the world in the process!)
