How we farm
Do you know where your beef comes from?
We have a herd of around 40 cattle, that we care for and breed in a way that we believe is the most sustainable and regenerative. They are fed solely on grass pastures* and crystal clear spring water, with no chemical fertilisers or pesticides.
*We also avail our cattle to mineral lick blocks where they choose to supplement their diet with essential trace elements that may be deficient in our soils and hence grasses.
Regenerative, small-scale farming
-
Regenerative grazing
We use regenerative grazing techniques to keep grass ecosystems in good health and avoid overgrazing, thereby increasing carbon sequestration. We walk our paddocks regularly, open gates, and the cattle move to graze on fresh pastures, fulfilling all their functions in the ecosystem as nature intended (eg fertilising!).
-
Happy, healthy cows
Using low-stress handling techniques, regeneratively grazing in paddocks with shade, shelter and crystal clear spring water are just some of the differences that make our cattle some of the happiest around. Not only is this important to our ethos, we believe it also results in better, tastier beef.

Sustainable farming
Regenerative, small-scale agriculture seeks to reclaim sustainable practices of our ancestors and deliver nutritious, ethical, local food. We offer grass-fed, regeneratively grazed, lovingly raised, happy beef delivered straight from the farmer to your door - minimising food miles.
